Well after what seems like five months I have finally made it to twenty weeks. I haven't really taken any proper maternity/belly photos yet, but I had some time today finally. :)
It took me a while to find a good location for photos, but I finally did. I like tall grass.
The concept was supposed to be the leaves against my belly, but this was the best I could execute it on my own. Maybe next week.
After some belly shots, I moved on to working on a new headshot.
Obviously didn't make the cut.
This one was supposed to read as playful. Instead it looks like some Halloween monster is popping out of the bushes and my cowl neck is helping me hide.
This one is definitely a contender.
I ended up putting this one on the website. Also, as a side note, I had to airbrush under my eyes because I stayed up till 11pm reading the second Hunger Games book. I had to force myself to turn off my phone and go to bed. I finished it today, by the way.
Finally! The big gender reveal! The tech doing the ultrasound said "Those are definitely not girl parts." Definitely.
To be completely transparent and honest, I had a hard time at first accepting that we are having a boy. I figured because my pregnancy has been so easy that I was having a girl for sure. I maybe cried in the car and after we got home a little. Then I felt awful that I wasn't excited. Ah, the mixed emotions that come with pregnancy.
Turns out I am actually pretty excited for our little guy to arrive.
